What exactly is "Union of Resonance"?  The short answer is:  Anything I want it to be!  Allow me to explain...

As a musician I have spent the better part of my life making music, writing songs, churning out riffs, trying to find the "hook", thinking mostly in verses and choruses with the occasional bridge thrown in for good measure.  This is all fine and good, there is nothing wrong with a good song and I like to listen to one as much as the next person.  But what became apparent to me recently was how often I had thrown out good ideas because they didn't "fit" my musical persona at the time and how I have spent almost as much time culling my creations to fit some kind of "genre" or musical category as I have actually creating them.  Now, I know that it makes sense for a musician or band to have a "sound" and I find it particularly annoying when a band comes along with an album that has the effect of being a sampler with everything from country to reggae to hard rock thrown into the mix.  This kind of thing is fine if you are a cover band playing at the local watering hole and are expected to please everyone but it does not make for good art.  Just my opinion but I think many would agree.  Not to say that you are going to find any country, reggae or hard rock here, but my point is that this is the place where I want to present some of my creations that don't fit into any of my other projects for one reason or another.  Some are too experimental, others too abstract, and others could possibly have been re-arranged and made to fit somewhere else but somehow just have too much personality of their own for me to force them into that proverbial square hole.  And you will also notice that it is not just about music.  This is the place where I want to ignore the boundaries, to let out the odd poem or spoken word piece, to play around with some video, and reveal a photo or two that I took and particularly like.  In general, I want to celebrate the creative spirit that has helped me through my life and to share it with anyone who might be interested.  Enjoy it or hate it as you like.
